Young learners tend to peak during the Summer months while the rest of the year tends to be Adult and Business Clients. We are currently expanding our business and are conducting a marketing campaign to increase our number of students and we will endeavour to keep you as busy as possible but we can’t commit to any actual numbers.

DO I NEEDTOHAVEATEACHINGQUALIFICATION?
EFL teachers are required to have a minimum of a CELTA or equivalent. French, Italian and Spanish Teachers are required to have teaching experience and or a teaching
DO I NEEDTOHAVEADEGREE? It is desirable, most of our teachers do but it is not essential.
HOWDO I APPLYFORA NOT KNOWN TO THE POLICE CERTIFICATEIN EUROPEANCOUNTRIES?
This appears to differ in different areas of the same country so your best bet would be to get advice from your municpality.
HOWMANYYEARSTEACHINGEXPERIENCEDO I NEEDTOHAVE? A minimum of 2 years teaching experience. There are exceptions to this under certain circumstances.
HOWDO I APPLYFORMY CRB?
Teachers based in the UK need to apply through a umbrella body that we are registered with. Teachers will e-mail the address provided, giving their name, telephone number and postal address. You will then an application form and information about the process. Then you fill out the form and take it with some id documents to your local Post Office. The Post Office will check your id, return it to you and send the forms on. Your applications will be processed through the CRB which takes about 4 weeks. The CRB issue 2 copies of a disclosure – one will be sent to you and the other is sent to us. The cost to you will be around £66.55 which the registered body will collect by card or cheque payment. The procedure does change from time to time due to changes imposed by the government so you need to contact the body mentioned in form 6 via email enquiries@accespcs.co.uk
HOWWILL I BEPAID?
You will be paid on the first Friday after the arrival of your student by bank transfer or cheque.
WHOWILLSUPPLYTHEMATERIALS?
The student will be provided with a coursebook and workbook or a grammar reference book.
CAN I USEMYOWNMATERIALS?
Teachers are welcome to use a wide variety of materials to make for a more interesting course tailored to the students needs.
WILL I HAVETOCREATEMYOWNLESSONANDCOURSEPLANS?
We will give you guidance but you will need to design your course based around the students priorities and needs.
You will need to be available for the student while they are with you and for them to be able to contact you when they are out on outings in case of any emergency. Young learners under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied at all times except for short walks around a small village.
HOWWILLMYSTUDENTGETTOMYHOME?
They will either require a pick up from the local station or airport if you do airport transfers. Otherwise a taxi will drop your student off at your home
ARETHESTUDENTSTESTEDBEFORETHEYARRIVEATMYHOME?
Yes students are tested, so we can give you an idea with regard to their level but a complete needs analysis will be required prior to them commencing the course.
ISMYSTUDENTRESPONSIBLEFORANYDAMAGECAUSEDINMYHOME?
No they are not. Teachers need to take care of their property. Of course students are generally well behaved and trustworthy but it is wise to take precautions.
DO I NEEDANUPTODATEGASSAFETYCERTIFICATE?
Yes you will need a current gas saftety certificate.
DO I NEEDHOUSEHOLDINSURANCE?
All teachers need to have complete household insurance as students are not liable for any damages caused in your home. You should take care when allowing students to use your equipment and we advise parental controls on laptops and computers particularly for young learners.
